Hometown Parade

The football Mom's and Madeline...(it was ccold!! that day!)

My kids were excited about the parade. Samuel doesn't remember going to any (the last one we went to, he was just 3 months old.) They thought it was pretty exciting to see the firetruck, the floats, the football players, and the bagpipist...oh, and LOTS of candy! I'd like to take them to a bigger one, so they can see a marching band up close. They love live music! The local public school doesn't have one anymore (or at least a marching one...) When my Dad played football in high school, he'd rush off the field at halftime, go grab his trumpet, and join the band, for the half-time band concert. That's the fun of a small town! :)

Candy!!

Some cheery townsfolk...

There's Max: #2~

Here's our local bagpipe player...aka. the school librarian.
